These terms apply to the use of this website and to all consignments booked with Mahaveera Logistics. By booking a consignment, you agree to these terms.
1. Bookings and rates
Rates are valid for the route, vehicle and load details shared at the time of quoting. Any change in weight, volume, route or loading conditions may change the rate.
2. Consignor responsibilities
- Declare the correct description, weight and value of the goods.
- Provide invoices, e-way bills and other documents required by law.
- Pack goods suitably for road transport.
- Do not book prohibited, hazardous or illegal goods without prior written approval.
3. Lorry receipt and delivery
A lorry receipt (LR) is issued for every consignment and must be quoted for any claim. Delivery is made to the consignee named on the lorry receipt.
4. Transit times
Transit times are estimates and may be affected by traffic, weather, check posts, vehicle breakdowns or other conditions beyond our control.
5. Insurance and liability
Goods are carried at owner's risk unless insured. Our liability, if any, is governed by the Carriage by Road Act, 2007 and the terms on the lorry receipt. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
6. Claims
Shortage or damage must be noted on the delivery receipt at the time of delivery and reported in writing within 7 days, with photos and supporting documents.
7. Charges and payment
Loading, unloading, detention, toll and other charges are payable as mentioned in the quotation or invoice. Payment terms are as agreed at the time of booking.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
